day 22 11/22/10
-getting better everyday, slowly and consistently getting into that “zone”.
-there are times when things will go wrong. it’s just a matter of how you approach the situation. focus, block everything out, focus on yourself, play your own game.
-keep your head up. keep your composure.
day 17, 18, 19, 11/17-19/10
-body and mind both exhausted. really needing a break.
-the last two days have been a lot more emotional, where I easily got pissed off after losing scrimmages. It’s easy to unleash my anger, but that anger doesn’t neccessarily mean that I will play with more intensity and focus. Yesterday I found that I was able to funnel that anger into my performance. It gave me intensity and an...

day 8 11/8/10
dear jiminy cricket
Last year when I used to run suicides/17s, I used to run it just to impress the coach. In fact, I did everything just to impress the coach. It got to the point where I was trying so hard just to conform to the coach’s style of play, that I completely changed my game. I was afraid to shoot the ball because i could always hear him scream “RUN THE PLAY!!!”....
day 6 and 7 11/6-7/10
Great practice, strong mentality.
time to take a break.

-keep working on attacking the rim, shots will come.
-square up, line of precision, up force, 70% release, follow through. shots will come.
